- 1992: Alma marries Mike. Don is suicidal after leaving Ivy. Rita's life takes a
tragic turn when Ted dies at the Bowls match
- 1993: Vera is caught shoplifting. Maureen and Reg try to get some time away from Maud.
Jack finds out that Terry has sold the baby.
- 1994: Maureen and Reg get married. Derek's mental health deteriorates. Betty proudly
wears the mayoral chains.
- 1995: Samir is beaten almost to death. Bet leaves Coronation Street. Alf gets his
O.B.E.
- 1996: Ken finds out about Denise's affair with Brian and throws her out.
Tracey and Robert are married. Don is rescued by Martin and Kevin after being overcome with smoke in the
garage.
- 1997: Don crashes his cab into the canal with Alma in it. Sally finds out about
Kevin and Natalie's affair. Don kidnaps Mike.
- 1998: Hayley has a revelation for Roy. Deirdre is sentenced to 18 months. Anne's frozen
body is discovered by Spider.
- 1999: Audrey discovers Alf dead in his chair. Sally and her girls are held hostage by
Greg. Judy is found dead in her back yard.
