Episode 1:Ken finds Dave holding Albert prisoner. Dave threatens to kill Ken but Ken
somehow manages to knock him unconscious. Albert keeps him in check with the poker when he comes round.

Episode 2: Deirdre leaves Tracy outside the Rovers whilst she calls on Annie. They are
disturbed by a terrible crashing sound - a lorry has spilt its load of timber into the Rovers. She
claws at the timber thinking Tracy is trapped beneath.

Episode 3: Gail doesn't like the idea of keeping her engagement with Brian quiet but
goes along to keep the peace. Hilda returns home to find a chicken on her table. She is amazed to see
the yard full of hens and tells Eddie to get rid of them.

Episode 4: Elsie returns from holiday and is delighted to hear Gail is engaged. Audrey
Potter arrives and gives her approval of Brian. Gail isn't happy to see her. Alf returns from hospital
but Renee treats him like an invalid.

Episode 5: Fred buys a wig. Annie and Betty can't believe it but they decide not to
mention it as he'll be self-conscious. The residents are amazed at it, however, and Albert tells him he
looks daft.

Episode 6: Eddie takes possession of a metal detector with which he plans to search
for precious metals. Albert tells Eddie he found an old coin on his allotment once – it’s a fib but
Eddie will end up digging his allotment for free.

Episode 7: Rita is determined to have a holiday and Fred agrees to give her a lift to
the caravan. As Bet is on her holidays, Rita asks her to join her in Morecambe and Bet agrees, much to
Len’s fury.

Episode 8: The big day arrives. Gail tries to compose herself but Brian isn't at all
nervous. Albert, Ena, Bet, the Ogdens, Ken, Deirdre and the Duckworths gather at the church to watch
the wedding as Mike walks Gail down the aisle.
