  • Episode 1: Annie stops the party as the news is broken to Betty about Cyril's death. She feels she caused it by hurrying him to come to the party and becomes confused. Draper manically drives a car into the Rovers' door, smashing it.
  • Episode 2: Lucille tells Rita she's been living with Danny for a month. Emily has her heart set on being Lady Bracknell but Ernie favours Annie and suggests Emily play Gwendaline. Deirdre wins the part of Gwendaline for herself.
  • Episode 3: Hilda is on the verge of a breakdown and Stan finds something in an advertisement to help her. Mavis is shocked when she walks into the mens' dressing room to be confronted by a naked Billy.
  • Episode 4: Albert returns and demands Dolores the donkey's removal from his yard. Stan takes the donkey back and is reported to the Health Inspector by Maggie. Albert is sickened to hear the Barlows have split.
  • Episode 5: Gordon gives Maggie away and she marries Ron. The reception is held at the Community Centre, with telegrams from the Bishops and Jacko. Alf drowns his sorrows as the Cookes leave for Africa.
  • Episode 6: Deirdre hates working with Ray. Blanche is angry when he makes her cry and hits Ray in the Rovers for harassing Deirdre. To Mavis' horror, a drunken Jerry gives a speech, saying how much Sheila means to him. Mavis runs out and Jerry is sick.
  • Episode 7: The women laze around in Majorca - Emily is eaten by mosquitoes and Bet picks up a property developer, Martin but, to the girls' surprise, Mavis falls for a Spaniard called Pedro. Mavis is delighted when Pedro kisses her.
  • Episode 8: Hilda gives Betty 2.50 for the sideboard but she wants to see how much Bet will offer. They try to move the sideboard in secret but Bet catches them and sits on it. Incensed, Hilda goes for her but Jerry stops them fighting.
