Irish Music from Ballykissangel set in the stunning Vale of Avoca, County Wicklow

The original soundtrack music of Series One and Two of Ballykissangel composed and produced by Shaun Davey, one of Ireland's leading professional composers.

Shaun Davey was BAFTA nominated and won the TRIC award for best signature theme for Ballykissangel.

More recently (2005/6), Shaun is in the process of writing 'The Ballykissangel Suite' for orchestra.

The suite is in five movements and scored with radio concert orchestras in mind. The music features flute, clarinet and bassoon as principal voices and is for the most part playful and lighthearted in tone; although, like the series, at times concerned with more thought-provoking moments in life. According to the Shaun Davey Website, the Ballykissangel Suite should be available for performance in early 2006.
